Filling Your Well In Ireland: Discovering The Sacred Feminine In A Magical Land

30 April - 10 May 2022

Girl in blue shirt and black pants sitting on stone wall and looking out at blue water and low islan

Imagine yourself

meandering through magical, green Ireland, off the beaten path, delighting in the abundant nourishment for your senses. The sight of emerald rolling hills, ancient stone circles and spectacular cliffs. The sound of crashing ocean waves, the classical tongue of Gaelic and traditional Irish music. The smell of clean air and the sea. The taste of fresh bread, aged cheese and, if you drink alcohol, Guinness and Irish coffee (with whiskey). The feel of locally-made organic body lotion and soft sheep's wool knitted and woven into glorious patterns to keep you toasty and cozy when the weather turns cool...

So often, in our American culture focused on DOING, the deep, health-sustaining "well" within us runs dry.

How would it feel to luxuriously fill that well and to explore an enchanting land at the same time?

The well is a symbol of the Sacred Feminine, a receptacle of nourishment, peace, and deep BEING. On this journey, you will fill that well by slowing down and steeping in the magic that is Ireland. Traveling, yes, but slowing down, exploring with curiosity, opening to receive.

The Sacred Feminine

is the Earth itself. Herself. You nourish your Sacred Feminine and allow your well to fill when you connect deeply with the Earth and open yourself to her calm, stable energy. On this journey you will be communing with the Earth and the ocean. You will explore expressions of ancient Irish goddesses, especially Brigid, who later became the female patron saint of Ireland.

You will walk the land, see and feel the energy of the sea, meet locals, and open your senses to the fullness of the land of Eire. You will connect with a tribe of interesting, thoughtful women travellers. You will come home with your well full, deeply nourished by all you have discovered and experienced.

Ann inherited her love of and connection with Nature from her mother, and throughout the day (Mother's Day in the US) we will be reflecting on our own mothers and our role as mother in this life, however we express that (i.e. human or animal or plant children, creative projects, etc.).
